Born in 1949, Yervant Hawarian is a renowned Lebanese artist of Syrian descent, celebrated for his iconic movie posters, banners, and large-scale artworks that shape Lebanon’s cultural and visual landscape. Beginning his career in the 1960s, Hawarian has painted over 20,000 pieces for cinemas across Lebanon, becoming a dominant figure in the industry for three decades.
